Dancehall legend Spragga Benz, Ky-Mani Marley, and media personality Patrice White are set to be ambassadors for the Jamaica Hi – 5k Reggae Run/Walk. The announcement was made during an online update hosted by Jamaica’s Consul General to the Southeast United States, Oliver Mair. The event, which takes place at Miramar Regional Park in South Florida on May 9, will feature a race, a 'reggae-robics' class, a health fair, and a food court. The event supports the Adopt-A-Clinic initiative, which provides support to healthcare facilities in Jamaica. Spragga Benz will also promote his upcoming multi-act production, Journey to Kingston. Patrice White, a seasoned runner, offered preparation tips, emphasizing the importance of rest and proper nutrition. The event is expected to attract over 2,000 participants.
