Pornhub Opens Up! UK Users Get Partial Access After Months of Restrictions

An adult content provider, which owns Pornhub, YouPorn, and Redtube, announced on Tuesday a partial reopening of access for new users in the United Kingdom (UK). This action follows a period of blocked access since February, which was implemented due to concerns about protecting minors. Cyprus-based Aylo stated that they are "taking a measured step to restore access to Pornhub for eligible adult users in the UK" who have successfully passed age verification. The restored access is available to Apple iPhone and iPad users who have updated their devices to the latest iOS 26.4 operating system. Apple has introduced a device-based age verification solution for its UK users, which the company views as a significant move toward a global solution for protecting children. Aylo had previously claimed that the UK’s Online Safety Act, which requires age verification, had diverted traffic to unregulated parts of the internet and failed to protect minors.
