The Dindoshi police in Mumbai have arrested two youths in connection with a theft in Malad East, revealing a case of debt-driven desperation and family betrayal. The theft, which occurred on April 14, involved the theft of gold and cash worth over 338 lakh rupees from the home of the prime suspect's elder brother. The investigation, which involved scanning CCTV footage and using human intelligence, led to the arrest of Noman Rizwan Tajani and Aman Rasool Sheikh. Tajani, a food delivery agent, was in debt and planned the theft with Sheikh. Police have recovered gold ornaments worth 268 lakh rupees. The remaining amount was reportedly used to repay loans.
