Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the Somnath Amrit Parv-2026, commemorating 75 years since the reconstruction of the Somnath Mahadev Temple. The event includes prayers to Lord Somnath, the Kumbhabhishek ritual, and a public address. A roadshow is also planned. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi will be present. Modi will arrive by air from Jamnagar and greet the public during a roadshow. He will pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's statue, who envisioned the temple's reconstruction. The Prime Minister will participate in special prayers and the Kumbhabhishek ceremony, including the flag hoisting. The Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team will perform an air show. A commemorative postal stamp and a ₹75 coin will be released.
