McLaren celebrated its Formula One heritage with a display of title-winning cars driven by champions on the streets of Miami on Wednesday. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri joined Mika Hakkinen and Emerson Fittipaldi. The event was a prelude to the 1,000th grand prix celebration. The milestone will be officially marked in Monaco in June. Norris said it was nice to be part of the celebration. Fittipaldi, McLaren's first champion, drove a McLaren M23. Hakkinen drove the MP4-14. Bruno Senna drove his uncle's MP4/6. Tony Kanaan also drove an Arrow McLaren IndyCar. Norris and Piastri drove Lewis Hamilton's 2008 title-winner. McLaren has won the last two Miami Grands Prix. Piastri and Norris might continue the streak. The Australian was cautious about predictions.
