A 29-year-old man from Kingston, Jamaica, Julian Manning of Border Avenue, Kingston 19, St Andrew, has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition. The charges stem from a police operation at his residence on Thursday, May 7, where officers discovered a Glock 19 pistol with a magazine containing eight rounds of ammunition. The Constant Spring police conducted the targeted operation around 5:15 am. Following a question-and-answer interview with Manning in the presence of his attorney, he was taken into custody and later charged. His court date is currently being finalized.
