Jamaican athlete Jordan Scott achieved a personal best of 17.66m (-0.67m/s) in the men's triple jump at the Coqui International Cup in Puerto Rico, setting a new world lead. This performance surpasses his previous best of 17.52m from July 2025. It's the longest jump by a Jamaican since Jaydon Hibbert's 17.75m in June 2024, which set a record at the Racers Grand Prix. The event was part of the World Athletics Continental Tour-Silver meet.
