Kennedy was involved in an affair scandal in 2024. Mulaney's comedy show was a fundraiser for the NEXT for Autism foundation. Mulaney said it was the “best benefit” he had ever performed at since Kennedy’s Riverkeeper benefit a decade ago. Mulaney mimicked Kennedy’s raspy voice. Mulaney called Kennedy a “stupid f***,” and joked about his public health official role. Mulaney then made jokes about his own father and his own appearance.
