Jamaica's Trade Mission: Boosting Business & Investment in Ireland & UK

State Minister Delano Seiveright is leading a week-long Jamaican trade and investment mission to Ireland and the United Kingdom. The primary goals are to increase export opportunities, solidify business partnerships, and advance investment discussions for Jamaica. The mission, organized by JAMPRO, Jamaica's investment and export promotion agency, includes representatives from the Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority (JSEZA) and various private sector companies. These companies span sectors like manufacturing, agro-processing, wellness, education services, legal services, and digital business. Participating companies include Wisynco Group Limited and Grace Foods UK. The delegation will participate in the Ireland–Latin America & Caribbean Trade Horizons Forum in Dublin and the UK-Caribbean Trade & Investment Forum in London. They will also hold targeted investor meetings, business engagements, and networking sessions with Irish and British stakeholders. Seiveright plans to meet with several government ministers from Ireland and the UK, including Ireland’s Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, Peter Burke, and the United Kingdom’s Minister of State at the Department for Business and Trade, Sir Chris Bryant. He will also meet with various business leaders.
