In response, Iran's parliament warned against US intervention. By blocking the Strait of Hormuz, Iran has disrupted oil, gas, and fertilizer supplies. The US has imposed a counter-blockade on Iranian ports. Trump noted positive discussions with Iran and a 14-point plan focused on ending the war. US Central Command will deploy guided-missile destroyers, aircraft, unmanned platforms, and 15,000 service members for the operation.
