In an exclusive interview, Iran's ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, stated that Tehran is prepared for both negotiations and war. He emphasized that Iran has never betrayed negotiations, contrasting this with Washington's actions. Jalali highlighted that Iran's general policy is to negotiate if the other side is willing, and to fight if they want war. He pointed out the US's withdrawal from the JCPOA and attacks during ongoing talks. Jalali added that if the US continues on its current path, Iran will fight, but if they intend to negotiate, Iran is ready for systematic negotiations with guarantees. Earlier, President Trump extended the ceasefire with Iran while awaiting a unified response. Tehran responded with a show of unity, with President Masoud Pezeshkian and parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stating that there are no hardliners or moderates, only Iranians. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi echoed this, saying that Iran's institutions act with unity. The standoff continues near the Strait of Hormuz, with Iran tightening its grip on shipping and the US imposing a naval blockade. Trump ordered the US Navy to shoot any Iranian boats laying mines. Tehran views the blockade as a breach of the ceasefire.
