The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) apprehended a Palestinian man suspected of murdering his 12-year-old son and burning his body. The man, after the alleged crime near Ramallah, West Bank, infiltrated Israel, evading Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces. The PA contacted the IDF after being unable to locate the suspect. The IDF found the man and interrogated him before handing him over to the PA. The military statement confirmed the arrest at the Hashmonaim checkpoint. In a separate incident, the IDF and Israel Police arrested and indicted seven members of the Hariri crime organization for extortion and other offenses. The arrests followed raids in Arab villages and the West Bank, resulting in the seizure of vehicles and cash.
