HYBE, the South Korean entertainment company, announced their new global girl group, SAINT SATINE, inspired by K-Pop, on social media on May 12th. The announcement ended months of speculation by revealing Tobi Sakura as the fourth and final member, chosen through the reality show World Scout: The Final Piece. She joins Emily, Lexie, and Samara, who were confirmed since the project's inception. The group was formed after three participants from The Debut: Dream Academy were invited to create the new HYBE project. Initially called Prelude: The Final Piece, the global girl group sought a fourth member. HYBE and Geffen Records partnered for a new competition. Inscriptions for World Scout: The Final Piece opened in August 2025, seeking women and non-binary individuals aged 15-24 with artistic training. In October, after 14,000 applications, the team coordinated in-person selections, defining 19 Japanese participants for elimination phases and K-Pop training in Tokyo and Los Angeles. Episodes aired on the Japanese streaming platform ABEMA from February to May 2026, with the grand finale shown on May 12th. Sakura was announced as the winner and final member. The group's name, SAINT SATINE, was announced by HYBE x Geffen. SAINT represents strong charisma, and SATINE symbolizes a softer, elegant image. The group's debut date has not been announced yet, but the quartet has a website and a platform for fans on Weverse.
