First Bank of Nigeria Limited and Visa have partnered to introduce the Visa Signature Card and the Visa Value Naira Debit Card. This strategic alliance aims to provide secure, seamless, and globally connected payment solutions for Nigerians. The Visa Signature Card, a multi-currency card, supports transactions in naira, U.S. dollars, euros, and British pounds sterling. It is designed for top executives, business owners, and frequent international travelers. The Visa Naira Debit Card caters to everyday consumers needing a reliable payment instrument for domestic and international transactions. Obianuju Ndu-Okereke, Head of Cards and Messaging at FirstBank, stated that the cards address different customer needs. The Signature card offers access to global experiences, including currency options in one card. This premium card provides benefits like airport lounge access, concierge services, and emergency assistance. The Visa Value Naira Debit Card is available instantly, while the Visa Signature card has a delivery timeline of up to 48 hours. The Visa Signature card has a spending limit of N3 million, with potential for increases based on customer needs.
