Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos responded to FBI Director Kash Patel's claims regarding the Nancy Guthrie case. Patel stated that local authorities hampered the investigation into the disappearance of 80-year-old Nancy Guthrie, mother of Savannah Guthrie. Guthrie went missing from her Tucson, Arizona home in February. Patel alleged that local authorities prevented the FBI from assisting for four days, including access to DNA samples. He also mentioned that the FBI recovered footage from Nancy's Ring camera with the help of Google. The FBI believes they could have gathered more evidence sooner. The investigation is ongoing.
