A leading HR company is seeking a Project Manager for a client focused on promoting energy efficiency and sustainability. The role is within the Financial Management Unit and requires strong experience in funded projects and innovative funding models. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the entire financial cycle of European (Horizon Europe, LIFE, etc.) and national (PRR, Fundo Ambiental) projects, from budgeting to final reporting. They will also manage projects focused on new business models for the energy sector, such as energy performance contracts and financing for energy communities, monitor project costs, manage project treasury, and report financial KPIs. Additionally, the role involves supporting the preparation and monitoring of contracting procedures according to the CCP (Public Contracts Code) and liaising with national and international partners, local authorities, and experts from European institutions. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Economics, or Management, with 5 years of professional experience in managing innovation projects with European and/or national funding. They should have a strong understanding of European funding eligibility rules and experience with the CCP. Fluency in English is essential, along with strong organizational skills, analytical rigor, autonomy, and a passion for working in multidisciplinary teams. The position is located in Porto, Portugal.
