External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has arrived in Kingston, Jamaica, as part of an official visit to Jamaica, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago. He was welcomed by his Jamaican counterpart, Kamina J. Smith. Over the next two days, the Minister looks forward to engaging with Jamaican leadership, the business community, and members of the Indian diaspora. During his visit, which will last until the 10th of this month, Dr. Jaishankar will meet with leaders from the three countries. Discussions will cover bilateral relations and regional and global issues. This visit aims to continue India’s political engagements and boost relations with these countries, reflecting a commitment to South-South cooperation and development. Dr. Jaishankar is also expected to have interactions with business leaders and members of the Indian community.
