Rumbler on Chapel Street, known for vinyl and DJ culture, has expanded with Coil, a late-night club. Coil aims for better sound, more space, and fewer distractions. From 5 pm, Coil operates as a bar, transitioning into a club at 9 pm with house, techno, and electronic music. Coil is designed for movement, unlike Rumbler. Andrew Prokop wanted a space for dancing. Coil features Tom Danley Synergy Horns for sound, creating a consistent experience. The space has low ceilings and tinted windows. A no-phone, no-camera policy is enforced on the dance floor. Entry is free before 9 pm, with a maximum of $20 for international acts. Drinks are made to order. Local wine and beers are available. Rumbler will continue its focus, while Coil offers a bigger and later experience.
