The cause of death for 'The Voice' singer Dylan Carter has been confirmed. The young artist, who passed away on April 25 at the age of 24, died from injuries sustained in a car accident, according to the Colleton County coroner in South Carolina. The incident has been ruled as accidental. Law enforcement officials revealed to TMZ that a 2026 Tesla veered off U.S. Route 21 while traveling south. The vehicle struck a pole and a fence before rolling. Carter, who was the only occupant, was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Carter gained recognition during season 24 of 'The Voice' in 2023, where he was mentored by Reba McEntire. McEntire has expressed her sadness over Carter's untimely passing.
