The Chicago Bears made several roster moves on Monday, signing wide receivers Scotty Miller and Kyron Hudson, along with linebackers Wayne Matthews II and Jon Rhattigan. This came just two days after their rookie minicamp concluded. In a surprising turn of events, rookie Squirrel White announced his retirement only four days after signing with the Bears as an undrafted free agent. White left practice early on Saturday. Miller, who hails from Barrington, and Rhattigan, from Naperville, were veteran tryout players during the two-day minicamp. Miller was part of the 2020 Super Bowl-winning Buccaneers and spent the past two seasons with the Steelers. Rhattigan played for both the Steelers and Raiders last season and graduated from Army in 2020. Hudson played with Bears quarterback Caleb Williams at USC and finished his college career at Penn State in 2025, where he caught 32 passes for 341 yards from 2022-23. Matthews, who also tried out at the camp, was second in tackles for his Michigan State team last season.
