Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha and actor Ajay Devgn are reuniting for a new action film, ending an 18-year silence since their film 'Cash' (2007). Sinha, known for social dramas since 2017, is returning to the action genre. A source revealed the film will be a large-scale entertainer, reminiscent of Sinha's earlier works like 'Dus' (2005) or 'Ra.One' (2011). The meeting between Sinha and Devgn was reportedly arranged by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Devgn's manager and producer. Sinha pitched one of his scripts to Devgn, Mangat, and producer Bhushan Kumar, who liked it. Devgn requested the scale of the film be bigger. The action-heavy film will have strong elements of realism and is expected to roll by the end of 2026. Devgn has other projects in the pipeline, including 'Dhamaal 4', 'Drishyam 3', 'Ranger', and 'Golmaal 5'.
