The Jamaica Basketball Association (JaBA) has announced a historic partnership with Adidas, making it the first apparel sponsorship agreement in Jamaican national basketball history. The deal, brokered by Business 2 Sports Group, will see Adidas as the official kit supplier for the Jamaica Men’s National Basketball Team. The agreement includes the availability of the Jamaican national basketball kit for purchase worldwide. Paulton Gordon, President of JaBA, expressed pride in the partnership, stating that it affirms Jamaican basketball's place on the world stage. Adidas has supported Jamaica’s basketball program leading up to the FIBA Men’s Basketball World Cup 2027 Americas Qualifiers. Cam Mason, Head of Adidas, Sports Marketing Basketball, noted the cultural connection, highlighting Jamaica's importance in their global football story and the extension of their relationship with the Marley family into basketball.
